Stojak na farby / Paint Stand

Stojak wykonałem z twardej tektury introligatorskiej 2mm, format A4. Potrzebowałem 4 arkuszy (koszt: 5,40 PLN). Do łączenia zastosowałem klej na gorąco. W rozwinięciu znajdziecie szczegółowy opis. Całość można by jeszcze oszlifować z poszarpanych brzegów i pomalować co być może z czasem zrobie. Efekt i tak jest bardzo dobry. Oczywiście nie zmieściłem wszystkich farb (nie ma tak dobrze), ale większość stoi teraz pod ręką.

I made the stand from hard bookbinding cardboard 2mm, A4 format. I needed 4 sheets (cost: $1.25). I used hot glue to connect. Later in the article you will find a detailed description. The whole thing could still be sanded from the jagged edges and painted, which I may do over time. The effect is still very good. Of course, I didn't fit all the paints (it's not so good), but most of them are at hand now.

Krok #1 Rozrysowałem siatkę składającą się z pól 30x40mm i wyciąłem z niej "schodki". Żeby otrzymać odpowiednią sztywność potrzeba 4 takich schodków. Zużyłem do tego 2 arkusze A4.

Step #1 I drew a grid consisting of 30x40mm fields and cut out "stairs" from it. You need 4 such steps to get the right stiffness. I used 2 sheets of A4 for this.

Krok #2 Trzeci arkusz A4 pociąłem na paski o szerokości 45mm. Będą one stanowiły "podłogę" schodków. Wyciąłem w nich w rónej odległości rowki o głębokości 5mm. Wykorzystałem do tego małą szlifierkę typu Dremel. Rowki pomogą w złożeniu szkieletu do klejenia.

Step #2 I cut the third A4 sheet into strips 45mm wide. They will form the "floor" of the stairs. I cut 5mm deep grooves in them at different distances. I used a small Dremel grinder for this. The grooves will help in assembling the skeleton for gluing.

Krok #3 Czwarty arkusz A4 pociąłem na paski o szerokości 40mm. Będą one stanowiły "czoło" schodków.

Step #3 I cut the fourth A4 sheet into strips 40mm wide. They will be the "front" of the stairs.

Krok #4 Złożyłem szkielet "na sucho". Dzięki wcięciom całość się nie rozpada.

Step #4 I assembled the skeleton "dry". Thanks to the cuts, the whole thing does not fall apart.

Krok #5 Wklejam "czoła" schodków na gorący klej. Wszystko nabiera sztywności. Doklejam "podłogi" tam gdzie trzeba. Na samej górze dałem element "P1" który jest pozostałością z cięcia w kroku #2 (opisane na zdjęciu) - pasuje idealnie. Jak widać "czoło" jednego ze schodków składa się z dopasowanych elementów - nie chciałem już sięgać po nowy arkusz, a tego i tak ostatecznie nie widać. Szczególnie, że podkleiłem ten element na zakładce i od wewnątrz tak, żeby było równo. Z tyłu usztywniam wszystko wklejkami z pozostałości - trochę krzywo to wyszło więc nie pokazuje zdjęcia :) Nie ma to jednak większego znaczenia dla finalnego efektu.

Step #5 I paste the "fronts" of the stairs on hot glue. Everything becomes stiff. I glue "floors" where needed. At the very top, I added the "P1" element, which is the remnant of the cut in step #2 (described in the picture) - it fits perfectly. As you can see, the "front" of one of the stairs consists of matched elements - I didn't want to reach for a new sheet, and it's still not visible. Especially that I glued this element on the fold and from the inside so that it is flat. On the back I stiffen everything with stickers from the remains - it came out a bit messy so not shown here :) However, it does not matter for the final effect.
