Stanowisko 2.0 / Workbench 2.0

Na fotce stanowisko 2.0. Jak ktoś czytał pierwsze posty to wie, że zacząłem skromnie. W międzyczasie udało się zorganizować fajne biurko, potem krzesło takie jak potrzebowałem, a ostatnio upolowałem witrynę, którą trzeba było się również zająć. Nareszcie mam komplet wyposażenia, które od początku chciałem. Na warsztacie też się dzieje, ale jest trochę chaosu. Wziąłem do malowania oddział z epoki napoleońskiej i zaraz niespodziewanie poczułem wielką sympatię do Jaszczuroludzi - obecnie kleję modele z kilku oddziałów: skinków, saurus warriorów i saurus knightów. Jak skończę to wracam do malowania, bo teraz nie mam za bardzo nic nowego do pokazania. Za to bardzo dobrze się przy tym wszystkim bawię.

Workbench 2.0 in the photo. If you red the first posts, then you know that I started modestly. In the meantime, I managed to organize a nice desk, then a chair just like I needed, and recently I hunted down a display case that also needed to be taken care of. I finally have all the equipment I wanted from the beginning. At the workshop is also happening, but there is a bit of chaos. I took a unit from the Napoleonic era to paint and then suddenly felt a great sympathy for the Lizardmen - I'm currently gluing models from several units: skinks, saurus warriors and saurus knights. When I'm done, I'll go back to painting, because right now I don't have much new to show. But I'm having a lot of fun with it all.

Wysokie Elfy dziś są już tylko wspomnieniem / The High Elves are now just a memory

Ze swojego archiwum wyciągnąłem i sfotografowałem dwa odziały Wysokich Elfów. Straż morską z Lothern i Mistrzów Miecza Hoetha. Najwyraźniej ta armia nie dołączyła do Age of Sigmar. Zresztą chyba GW wyłączyło z oferty (niemal?) wszystko z elfami w nazwie. I trochę szkoda, bo to była całkiem dobrze prezentująca się frakcja (a także mroczne i leśne elfy).

From my archives I pulled and photographed two High Elf troops. The Lothern Sea Guard and Hoeth's Swordmasters. Apparently, this army did not join the Age of Sigmar. Anyway, I guess GW excluded from the offer (almost?) Everything with elves in the name. And it's a bit of a shame, because it was a pretty good-looking faction (as well as dark and wood elves).

Skaven - Miotacz Spacz-Ognia / Warpfire Thrower Team

Wracam z kolejnymi Skavenami. Widziałem tę figurkę z obecnej oferty GW, ale ta wcześniejsza wersja jest jednak dla mnie ciekawsza. Chyba przez tego nieszczęsnego szczurka.

I'm back with more Skaven. I saw this figurine from the current GW offer, but this earlier version is more interesting to me. Probably because of that poor rat.

Zielonoskórzy / Greenskins

Modele z zestawu Stormclaws. Puszka i dwa gobliny. Podstawka: piasek, korek, glina rzeżbiarska malowana akwarelą i akrylem, trawa statyczna.

Skaveni to moja ulubiona rasa ze świata Warhammera. Bardzo lubię lore i modele - szczególnie za ich organiczną naturę. W malowaniu wiele wybaczają i pozwalają szybko uzyskać satysfakcjonujący efekt. Ten model jest jednym z moich ulubionych. Mam nawet jeszcze jeden - złożony i z nałożonym podkładem. Więc jeszcze pomaluje go kiedyś drugi raz.

Skaven are my favorite race from the Warhammer universe. I like lore and models a lot - especially for their organic nature. When it comes to painting, they forgive a lot and allow you to quickly get a satisfying effect. This model is one of my favourites. I even have another one - folded and with a foundation applied. So I will paint this model a second time.

Praca w toku / Work In Progress

Pracuję obecnie nad modelem Maga Wysokich Elfów ze wspomnianego ostatnio zestawu startowego, który zakupiłem w 2014 roku, a swoją premierę miał on w 2011. To był początek mojej przygody. Mam wrażenie, że maluję bardzo powoli i przyznam, że wcale się nie spieszę. Nakładam kolejne cienkie warstwy bez pośpiechu, bo najwięcej przyjemności czerpie z samego procesu malowania i kontemplowania każdego szczegółu modelu. Napiszcie proszę w komentarzu jak to u Was wygląda. Czujecie jakąś presję na szybkość pracy, czy też raczej oddajecie się tej przyjemnej, powolnej medytacji?

I'm currently working on the High Elf Mage model from the 2014 starter set mentioned recently, which I bought in 2014 but it was release in 2011. It was the very beginning of my adventure. I have the impression that I paint very slowly and I admit that I am not in a hurry at all. I apply successive thin layers without haste, because I get the most pleasure from the process of painting and contemplating every detail of the model. Please write in the comment below how does it looks for you. Do you feel any pressure to work fast, or do you rather indulge in this pleasant, slow meditation?

No i wreszcie czas na figurkę dokończoną w ostatnich dniach. Jedyna figurka jaką malowałem w roku 2021 i wreszcie skończyłem w 2022. Traktuję to jako rozgrzewkę przed kolejnymi modelami. Jest to Daemon Prince (https://t.ly/M_Ly) w jednym z sugerowanych wariantów.

2023

Rok 2023 zaczynam nietypowo, bo od wspomnienia z roku 2014, kiedy to malowałem swoje pierwsze figurki z ówczesnego startera do WFB. Nadal mam trochę niedokończonych figurek z tego zestawu :)

I am starting 2023 in an unusual way, because from the memory of 2014, when I painted my first figures from WFB starter of that year. I still have some unfinished figures from this set :)
